Encryption at rest & in transit
All data stored by Eudos is encrypted using AES-256, the same standard used by governments and major financial institutions. Every connection uses TLS 1.3, protecting your data as it moves between your device and our servers.
Read-only access — always
When you connect a financial account, Eudos uses read-only API access wherever technically available. We can see balances and transactions, but we cannot initiate, authorise, or complete any transaction. Your money cannot be moved through Eudos.
Your credentials stay with Plaid
We use Plaid for account connectivity. When you connect a bank or brokerage, you log in directly through Plaid's interface. Your banking username and password are never transmitted to or stored by Eudos at any point.
SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure
Our platform runs on cloud infrastructure that holds SOC 2 Type II certification — the gold standard for security, availability, and confidentiality controls. We undergo annual independent audits to verify our controls remain effective.
Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication is available on every account and strongly recommended. Add a time-based one-time code from any authenticator app — 1Password, Authy, Google Authenticator — on top of your password.
Anomaly detection & alerts
Our systems monitor for unusual activity across your connected accounts and within Eudos itself. If something looks out of the ordinary — an unexpected large transaction, a login from a new device — we notify you immediately.
Independent audits & compliance
Beyond SOC 2, we work with independent security firms for regular penetration testing and code review. Our compliance posture is documented and available to enterprise customers on request.
Continuous monitoring & updates
Security is never finished. We patch dependencies promptly, monitor our systems around the clock, and ship improvements continuously so your data stays protected against new threats.
