Eudos vs. Quicken — personal-finance software or a balance-sheet instrument?
Quicken plans the month ahead. Eudos measures the balance sheet.
What Quicken is built for
Quicken has made personal-finance software for more than 40 years. Quicken Simplifi, for web and mobile, offers a customizable spending plan, predictive cash-flow forecasts, spending watchlists, investment performance and balance charts, a retirement planner with scenarios, Schedule A and B tax reports, and free phone and chat support with guided onboarding. Quicken Business & Personal adds business finances, and the Classic desktop line runs from Starter to Premier, Business & Personal, and Quicken Family Enterprise, described as "for managing multiple entities" (quicken.com, Oct 28, 2026). If budgeting, forecasting and planning the month ahead is the job, it is built for that.
What Eudos is built for
Eudos answers the balance-sheet question: what the household owns, through which entities, what each holding returned on the capital put in, how long the cash would last, whether spending is outrunning income, and whether the picture is protected and passed on. It runs in the browser and installs on a phone.

Questions people ask
